What a great weekend a big thanks must go to Craig Burry and the Old Bridge Inn for putting on a great time at the Scottish Backcountry festival. Workshop ski and snowboard touring clinics running through Saturday day time on Cairngorm Mountain with G2 Outdoors Nick Etheridge and George Reid taking the courses, with the forecast looking pretty grim for Saturday then hey ho come the big day and no wind, the forecast wrong again!!
Thinking the day couldn't get any better and everybody pleased with themselves we all wandered to the Old Bridge for a few quiet pints!!!!!! Oh how wrong we were! What a great night with some awesome films played from 8 onwards and the Cairngorm Brewery laying on a special backcountry festival brew this was turning into a real hangover for the next day!
