We're all a wee bitty excited down at the Bridge, as the sun is out, people are moving into beer garden mode and there's lots going on this weekend.
Last night we had some excellent trad tunes from Ord Ban (a band lovingly named after the recently closed restaurant of the same name, having had so many good times there with Polly and Ross). Tonight they'll be back with more tunes, alongside the Banana Sessions. You may well have caught team Banana in action here before. They are quirky, they are funky, they've got soul and they can sing. But don't take our word for it...come see for yourself!
Before that, though, we have the Back Country Ski & Board film festival taking place. Craig Burry came to us with this idea some time ago and we were delighted to take him up on his request for us to host the event. G2 and Mountain Spirit have been runing the day events up in them there hills, while we'll look after you all at night.
Come see the film footage of the best of what Scottish backcountry exploration has to offer. There'll be prizes dished out for the best video, best editing and best action, as voted for by whoever comes to watch. 8pm for this, with music from about 10pm.
Tomorrow, the Banana Sessions are hanging around to serenade our dearest mother's over lunch. Treat them to a roast (your mum, not the Bananas), some lovely tunes and as much cake as they can handle.
Hope to see you all soon.
